Thank you for your interest in Apple Creek Place. We are proudly managed by Senior Housing Management. The Senior Housing Management mission is simple: To lead the senior housing industry by providing Red Carpet Treatment through our core values for all of our customers.

We are committed to providing you or your loved one with excellent customer service and health care services! Senior Housing Management has an experienced team of operational and nursing experts that provide monitoring through a detailed quality assurance process. This team of experts ensures our on-site management team has the support we need twenty-four hours a day; seven days a week.

We believe that all residents deserve to live life to the fullest.

Eric Lund

Community Director

Eric is the newest member of the Apple Creek Place family, having joined in Spring of 2020. Eric oversees the daily operations including meals, services, and resident cares. His focus is to foster an environment in which employees can learn and grow always keeping resident safety in the forefront of his mind, and always remembering this is their home. As is true of each team member, Eric strives to fulfill our community mission — “Embracing Every Moment.” Eric enjoys working at Apple Creek Place because he feels the entire team brings a family-like atmosphere to the community and he is given the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of the residents, their families as well as the staff at Apple Creek Place. During his spare time, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife, Alison and their children. He also enjoys watching his children participate in hockey and softball. Additionally, Eric enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, boating and traveling and being outdoors in general. Eric looks forward to getting to know each family as they choose Apple Creek Place for their loved one.

Jennifer Strong, LPN

Assistant Director

Jennifer, who joined the team in mid-2019, is the main point of contact for team members. She coordinates all new hire training, human resources and assists Eric, the Community Director, with day-to-day operations of the community. In addition to handling all the human resources, Jennifer also does staff development and education for the team members. Jennifer enjoys helping residents have a good quality of life while here at Apple Creek Place. During her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time outdoors, snowmobiling, four wheeling, hiking and fishing.

Jess Betts-Nelson

Community Relations Coordinator

Jess, who joined the team in 2020, works with prospective residents and their families. He coordinates the move in process from beginning to end, building relationships with new residents and their families. In addition to handling all marketing, Jess also educates the community on what Apple Creek Place can offer for senior members of the Appleton and surrounding communities. Jess enjoys being able to make a difference in the lives of the residents and their families in a time of need. In his spare time, Jess enjoys spending time with his spouse and children, cooking, baking and photography.

Alexis Strong, RN

Health Care Coordinator

Alexis, who joined the team in late 2019, oversees the assisted living care residents receive at Apple Creek Place. Alexis’ nursing experience lends well to her position as a mentor to caregivers. Alexis performs resident assessments, creates ongoing training opportunities for caregiving staff and ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations. Alexis enjoys her position at Apple Creek Place because she enjoys making a difference in the resident’s lives. During her spare time, Alexis enjoys going hiking with her husband and dogs.

Sheryl Duerr

Culinary Coordinator

Sheryl, who joined the team in 2014, oversees the dining services department. She prepares menus and oversees meal preparation. Sheryl appreciates resident feedback at monthly resident council meetings, especially on what menu items residents enjoy. Sheryl encourages residents to submit their favorite recipes for consideration as menu items. Sheryl enjoys the ‘family-like’ feeling she receives while at Apple Creek Place and encourages everyone to come experience a meal and a tour of our community. During her spare time, Sheryl enjoys being outside hiking, biking and spending time with her family.

Jennifer Vannes

Housekeeping Coordinator

Jennifer, who joined the Apple Creek Place team in mid-2019, oversees the housekeeping of the entire community. She coordinates the resident apartment cleaning schedule as well as the cleaning of resident and visitor common areas. Jennifer has a real heart for our residents and keeps their comfort and well-being at the forefront of all she does and plans surrounding the cleanliness of our community. Jennifer enjoys helping residents with keeping their rooms clean and disinfected, especially when faced with global pandemics such as COVID-19. During her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, 6 children and 5 grandchildren.

Brittania Harper

Health Services Lead

Brittania, who joined the team in 2017, provides support to the Health Care Coordinator and the caregiving team. She works closely with the Health Care Coordinator in coordinating care and services for our residents. Brittania assists residents in coordinating their medical appointments as well as transportation to those appointments. Brittania enjoys seeing all the residents daily and the smiles the residents share when they see her. During Brittania’s spare time, she enjoys going camping, boating, hiking and going on motorcycle rides.
